Über den Neckar hinweg gesehen zeigt die Tonlithographie eine Ansicht von Berg, mit der Mitte des 19. Jahrhunderts durch Ludwig Friedrich Gaab (1800-1869) neu gebauten Kirche. Im Vordergrund führt ein Brückensteg über den Fluss, der Berg mit Cannstatt verband. Rechts im Hintergrund ist auf einer Hügelkuppe die Villa Berg zu sehen, die dem württembergischen Kronprinzen- und späteren Königspaar Karl (1823-1891) und Olga (1822-1892) als Sommerresidenz diente (Lit: Schefold 8752; Degreif WVZ 29-7).
