Auf dem Flugblatt von ca. 1704 ist die Halbfigur von Elisabetha Knechtlin dargestellt, eine vollbärtige Frau mit Schnürbrust, Haube und zwei Zöpfen, die über die linke Schulter fallen. Knechtlin wurde 1620 in Appenzell als Tochter eines Bauern geboren, war acht Jahre lang verheiratet und litt unter langem Bartwuchs. Das Blatt wurde, möglicherweise nach einem Gemälde, von Bartholomäus Strahowsky angefertigt (https://datenbank.museum-kassel.de/45844/).
