Ludwig Emil Grimm, der in Heidelberg mit Clemens Brentano zusammenwohnte, erhält in diesem vierseitigen Schreiben detaillierte Anweisungen für den Versand von Brentanos Büchern, Gemälden und Hausrat nach Frankfurt, da Brentano plant, Savigny nach Landshut zu folgen und dort bei ihm zu wohnen. Das Doppelblatt weist zwei Brandlöcher auf, die zu Textverlusten geführt haben.
