The face of the head of this female statuette retains only the suggestion of the eyes, mouth and nose. The nose is blocky and shows signs of recarving in antiquity. The hair is smooth on the crown with a roll in front and at the neckline where remnants of tight curls are discernible. The ears were well modeled, but now all details are weathered away. The style of the head, which is placed in a rigid frontal presentation on the neck, with a clear separation of the head and neck is consistent with that of the early Classical period.
