De invloed die het Verre Oosten in de jaren twintig uitoefende op de mode, beperkte zich niet tot kleding maar vinden we ook in accessoires terug. Zo waren parasols met Oosterse motieven modieus. Dit exemplaar is bedrukt met arabesk- en cachemiremotieven in ecru, rood en kaki. De steel is versierd met uitgewerkt hout en een strik in dezelfde stof als het scherm.
