Das Bild zeigt das damalige Dorf Konz mit der ehemaligen Pfarrkirche St. Nikolaus und einen Hügel dahinter. Dieser ist der 287m hohen "Scharnagel". Der Standpunkt des Malers ist bei etwa beim Bahnhof Konz. Das Bild zeigt den Zustand aus etwa der Zeit der Jahrhundertwende ist aber allein was die Presspappe betrifft detlich später entstanden. Die Kirche stimmt in einigen Details nicht mit Fotos aus den 1920er Jahren überein. Es ist nicht signiert.
