Der in ausgeprägt kontrapostischer Haltung stehende, nur mit einem umgeworfenen Manteltuch bekleidete Heilige hält im angewinkelten linken Arm ein aufgeschlagenes großes Buch, während die Rechte zur Brust geführt ist. Bemerkenswert ist die bewegte Gestaltung in Körper, Haltung und Gewand. Um welchen Heiligen es sich handelt, ist wegen fehlender Attribute, abgesehend von der Bibel, nicht mehr festzustellen.
