Linke Seite: Skizze eines Eingang (Sandsteinmauer; Eingang einer Kirche oder Ruine). rechte Seite: zwei Kinder auf einer Sandsteintreppe. Das Mädchen im Vordergrund spielt auf einer Panflöte. Der Junge hinter ihr scheint zu essen. Zeichnung in der Nachfolge Motivpalette eines Bartolomé Esteban Murillo (1617-1682). Die Gemälde des spanischen Künstlers waren beliebt und wurden in der Mitte des 19. Jahrhunderts gerne nachempfunden.
