Xavery was een Antwerpse beeldhouwer die in 1721 in Den Haag neerstreek en hofschilder werd. In 1736 maakte hij dit borstbeeld van prinses Anna van Hannover, dochter van koning George II van Engeland en echtgenote van stadhouder Willem IV. Een paar jaar eerder had Xavery ook van hem een borstbeeld gemaakt – het staat elders in deze zaal.
