Die von Daniel Chodowiecki und Anton Graff geförderte Künstlerin war während der Regierung König Friedrich Wilhelms II. von Preußen außerordentlich geschätzt. Ihr Werk bestand überwiegend aus Pastellen, vereinzelt aus Gemälden. Sie stach auch selbst. So sind die Reproduktionsstiche eine wichtige Quelle für ihre Kunst. Dieser zeigt den seit 1766 am preußischen Hof mit der Einführung der Steuerverwaltung nach französischem Vorbild tätigen Marc Antoine André de La Haye de Launay (1730-nach 1796), der nach dem Tod König Friedrichs II. (1786) in Ungnade fiel. Den Stich hat offensichtlich der Bruder von Félicité Tassaert, Jean Joseph François Tassaert, ausgeführt. Er war damals in Paris tätig, wohin sich wohl auch de Launay später wieder zurückzog. Altbesitz Märkisches Museum. Bezeichnet li. u. "H. Félicité. Tassaert. pinx:", re. u. "J. J. F. Tassaert Schulpsit.", handschriftlich 1796 mit brauner Feder.
