The male torso is half life-size and has well-defined musculature with a broad chest that tapers to a thin waist. The statue is broken off just below the hips. The right and most of the left arms are also missing. There is a rectangular cavity carved into the front of the sternum where a head would have been inserted. A large chunk of the iron pin and lead solder are sill extant in the cavity. The spine is well-modeled and the back musculature is as well defined as that of the front. The position of the hips indicates that weight was put on the left leg. The upper part of the left arm rested against the body, but the right arm appears to have been extended to the side. There are remnants of an iron pin in a cavity just below the armpit that may have been used to support the extended arm. There is also some solder toward the front of the shoulder. The statue exhibits a gray patina all over and there is a large chip missing from the right pectoral along with a crack on the left side of the torso.
