Holzstich nach einer Vorlage von Ernst Hartmann (1818-1900) aus der Zeitung "Ueber Land und Meer. Allgemeine Illustrirte Zeitung", Jg. 6, Bd. 11, März 1864, Nr. 26, S. 409. Der Stich stammt aus der Xylografischen Anstalt von Eduard Hallberger. Der gleichnamige Artikel auf S. 406 enthält Nachruf und Lebenslauf von Maximilian II. Joseph von Bayern (1811-1864), zwischen 1848 und 1864 König von Bayern.
