Holzstich nach einer Vorlage von Baum aus der Zeitung "Ueber Land und Meer. Allgemeine Illustrirte Zeitung", Jg. 6, Bd. 12, Juli 1864, Nr. 42, S. 665. Der Stich stammt aus der Xylografischen Anstalt von Eduard Hallberger. Der gleichnamige Artikel auf S. 662-663 enthält Nachruf und Lebenslauf von Wilhelm Friedrich Karl (1781-1864), zwischen 1816 und 1864 als Wilhelm I. König von Württemberg. Auf S. 661 wird die Aufbahrung seiner Leiche im Stuttgarter Residenzschloß abgebildet.
