Σε πρώτο πλάνο ο ερειπωμένος τρούλος της Αγίας Μαρίνας. Διακρίνονται το τζαμί του Τζισταράκη, η βιβλιοθήκη του Αδριανού, το ρολόι του Έλγιν, το Φετιχέ τζαμί στο χώρο της Ρωμαϊκής Αγοράς και η οικία Κλεάνθη-Σάουμπερτ στους πρόποδες της Ακρόπολης. Στη σημερινή οδό Σταδίου βρίσκεται η οικία Κοντόσταυλου και οι βασιλικοί στάβλοι. Ο Υμηττός κλείνει τον ορίζοντα στα ανατολικά.
