Alice Haarburger zeigt Stuttgart mit dem Tagblattturm im Zentrum. Weder Rathaus, noch Schloss oder Stiftskirche sind hier das Bildthema dieser Stadtansicht, sondern das damals höchste Gebäude der Stadt. Ihr Blick auf die Stadt ist vermutlich der von der Danneckerstraße 36 aus, wo sie bis zu Ihrer Deportation durch die Nationalsozialisten Ende 1941 wohnte.
