Offizielles Brustbild in weißem Hemd unter schwarzer Jacke mit schwarzer Krawatte, nach links. Dargestellt ist der Berliner Fabrikant Wilhelm Schubert (1840-1882), der im Jahr der Fertigstellung des Gemäldes gestorben ist. Möglicherweise handelt es sich um ein Gedächtnisbild, worauf auch die schwarze Krawatte über dem weißen Hemd deutet. Stiftung Agnes Jürgens 1929 für das Märkische Museum.
