The church has preserved its medieval ducks to some extent (in the longhouse). The tower received its present design in 1937. See Litt: Our Churches. P. 557. ISBN 91-971561-08. Selma Andrietta Beata Sahlberg was born on 12/2 1883 in Torsby, southern Bohuslän, and she died on 22/5 1972 in Munkedal.
