år. I en inskription på albumbladets motstående sida av Qing-connoisseuren Li Zuoxian har motivet identifierats som "de tre sura" (sansuan tu) . "De tre sura" är berättelsen om hur Su Dongpo och Huang Tingjian, två av Song-dynastins ledande intellektuella, tillsammans med monken Foyin, smakte på vinäger gjort på persikoblommor. Det är ett ovanligt motiv i kinesiskt måleri, den stora Yuan-målaren Zhao Mengfu skall , enligt en källa ha målat detta motiv, men denna målning är inte bevarad för eftervärlden.
