For this publication, Virginie Yassef, accompanied by Julie Pellegrin, chose to interview Mathieu Copeland and Philippe Quesne about the preparation of her project The Veldt. The first episode was presented at the Ferme du Buisson as part of “Performance Day,” and the following one at the Théâtre Nanterre-Amandiers in November 2018. This dual interview explores discussions with the curator and the director about theatricality, the transition from exhibition to stage, the treatment of sound, scenography, time, and the score.
