Due to the small head and the enlarged proportions of the body, one cannot help thinking of artists like Henry Moore who bestow a sculptural quality to their drawings. Here however the emphasis is on the use of light and dark, what Santhanarj would have described as light entering or escaping the abstract forms through the grace of God.
