ANDY WARHOL (1928-1987) 'Torso' (Victor Hugo). Silkscreened inks on two large sheets of vellum. each: 26 x 40 in. (66 x 101.6 cm - total 132 x 101,6 cm) Executed circa 1977. This work is unique. The work is registered under Warhols personal projects. Last photo shows comparable work sold at auction. And please note that the work we are selling is double size of the version sold on auction. The small torso sold including buyer fees for 42.500 GBP The Torso silkscreen was made from a polaroid photo of Victor Hugo. The photo can be seen in "The Andy Warhol Catalogue Raisonne" 05B page 45.
