Marchand d'estampes à l'angle de la rue Mabillon et de la rue Saint-Sulpice, vers 1860, actuel 6ème arrondissement. Paysage urbain. Au premier plan, un enfant accompagné d'un chien jouant au cerceau et une jeune mendiante. Au second plan, un homme et une petite fille avec un tambourin. A leur gauche, un marchand de fleurs et le magasin d'estampes. A l'arrière-plan, un garde à cheval, un prêtre et une dame devant l'église.
