Eamon Ore-Giron has created a new limited-edition print, Infinite Regress CXLVII (variation I) , 2021, on the occasion of his exhibition The Symmetry of Tears , on view at 48 Walker Street through June 5. In his body of work entitled Infinite Regress (2015–ongoing), Ore-Giron creates highly-pigmented, evocative forms that recall religious iconography, sacred landscapes, and celestial bodies in cyclical passages of time. The works in this series are each a variation on the one that came before, suggesting a trajectory of future iterations.
