The picture is published in the Upsala New Newspaper September 3, 1934, with the following caption: “T. v. seemingly the exhibition honorary chairman of the county court Linnér and the exhibition commissary painter Axel Lindgren in his co-language.” The craft exhibition of the Upsala Factory and Handcraft Association lasted between 1 and 16 September 1934. The exhibition was on the one hand in the association’s premises on Nedre Slottsgatan, in Slottsbacken and in some apartments in a newly constructed property in the Nets district at Stora Torget.
