The picture is published in Upsala Nyi, August 31, 1934, with the following caption: “Upsala läns tree-schools exhibition in the park. In the background the magnificent spruce hedge surrounding the area.” The craft exhibition of the Upsala Factory and Handcraft Association lasted between 1 and 16 September 1934. The exhibition was on the one hand in the association’s premises on Nedre Slottsgatan, in Slottsbacken and in some apartments in a newly constructed property in the Nets district at Stora Torget.
