The picture is published in the Upsala New Newspaper, 18 July 1934, with the following caption: “The Plaskdammen in the Vasapark have become a core of the youngest Upsala and this year also a new and refreshing feature of the street scene. There is a lively swim and play life. The pictures togos of yesterday, when Upsala recorded a maximum temperature of 31 gr., the highest this year and reportedly record of the day throughout the country.” The Plaskdammen in Skolparken (also known as Vasaparken).
