Josef Ärnströms bildsamling förvärvades av Upplandsmuseet 2011. Bilderna speglar Josef och hans fru Noras liv och möten på de platser som de var bosatta. Josef Ärnström (1887-1926) var född i Hållen, Hållnäs socken, Uppland. Josef var folkskollärarexamen i Uppsala 1908 och får en tjänst vid Berge skola, Timrå. Där träffar han kollegan och blivande hustrun Nora Selldin (1883-1979) född i Vivsta, Timrå, som examinerats vid seminariet i Härnösand.
