Text in Photo Album: “Bomhus Street 8, Gefle. (Before the Rebuilding)” The Bomhus Street is now called Styrmansgatan. Johan Lundin’s father Olof Andersson born in 1822 in Björklinge moved with his family in 1852 to Gävle. There he took the name Lundin and worked as a lap timber-man. Johan Lundin lived as a new married (married 1877) in Gävle. The family moved to Skutskär, intended to emigrate to North America, but ended up in Björklinge in 1882, where they were engaged in Lanthandel in Läby until 1887.
