“Blacksmith’s alley towards the southwest from Kung” s“. Smed alley is one of the few medieval alleys in the city that has been preserved to our time. The settlement in the Näkter” neighborhood also had a long history. It is not impossible that the building near the right, which was demolished in the 1930s, contained remains of Olof Rudbeck’s peculiar museum and library building from 1676. More how much is hard to say. The yard was hit hard at both the big fires From Ola Ehn & Gunnar Elfström, Uppsala in Dahlgren’s pictures. Nature and Culture 1977.
