“Bean alley to the north-east from Östra Ågatan. In the corner of Östra ÅBand Bäverns alley lies to the left the old tavern commonly known as Sju helvetes glugs, known among others through Gunnar Wennerberg’s Gluntar. There is talk of the infama tavern at the Icelandic Bridge with the seven ugly extensions and its diabolical nature under the roof. The seven roof hives that the house had against Östra Å” caused discus already when they were to From Ola Ehn & Gunnar Elfström, Uppsala in Dahlgren’s pictures. Nature and Culture 1977.
