Strandbodgatan - Östra ÅStr, Uppsala “Strandbodgatan facing north-east from the harbour. On the left is the monumental coal magazine of the gas plant, and on the right the beach bods are seen, which gave names to the street. In the past, the bods were gathered in groups along Östra ÅStrat the harbour. They were used as a magazine by the city’s merchants.” From Ola Ehn & Gunnar Elfström, Uppsala in Dahlgren’s pictures.
