Huset är uppfört i holländsk palladianismstil 1671-1672, arkitekt Mathias Spieler för den holländskfödde sedermera svenske översten Thomas van der Noot. Fasaden har genomgående pilastrar och festoner, mittpartiet är dekorerat med sjöjungfrur i sandsten. Två flyglar inramar en mindre trädgård. Byggnaden användes först som bostad åt olika holländska ministrar. 1740 uppfördes ytterligare en byggnad som användes som kyrka åt den holländska reformerta kyrkan. 1770 gjordes den om till tobaksfabrik. I slutet av 1800-talet var byggnaden i dåligt skick och hotades av rivning.
