Satire op het celibaat. Een monnik en een non vrijen op een rieten mand met stro in een tent bij het licht van een kaars. De paus bespiedt met een lantaarn het paar. Het vrijend paar broedt op een nest van eieren waaruit monnikjes kruipen, onder een stoel zit een kat met een mijter op de kop.
