Invigdes 1934, är en av Sveriges vackraste idrottsplatser med sin stenmur. Statens åtgärder under arbetslöshetens 30-tal var viktig för idrottsplatsen. Här sattes arbetslösa stenarbetare i verksamhet bekostat av statens pengar. Resultatet finns kvar i den vackra stenmuren som gör anläggningen både intim och monumental.
