Bruksmiljö vid Dalälven. Bruket erhöll 1668 privilegier för masugn och 1701 för stångjärnshammare. Herrgård från 1830-talet med välbevarade och tillhörande ekonomibyggnader från 1770-talet. Verkstäder finns endast kvar som ruiner. Till området hör också Mattön, det "fria" samhälle som växte upp invid det ordnade brukssamhället.
