Aeneas ontvangt door voorspraak van Venus een nieuwe wapenrusting in de smidse van Vulcanus. In het midden knielt de held voor de godin. Een Cupido reikt hem de helm, vooraan liggen de andere delen van het harnas. Door de lucht buitelen putti, één met een lauwerkrans. Links werken vier smeden boven een vuur. Onderdeel van een groep van vijf werken vervaardigd voor het huis aan de Nieuwegracht 6 te Utrecht.
