1927 hade de första serietillverkade Volvokarosserna lämnat Olofström. Samtidigt inleddes tillverkning av rostfria diskbänkar och kokkärl. Med tiden kom tillverkningen av bildelar att dominera. Företaget fortsatte att växa och idag är Volvo Olofströmsverken Blekinges största företag.
