Karlskrona (Karlskrona sn). Residensstad och svenska flottans örlogshamn sedan 1680-talet med ursprunglig stadsplan med unika barockdrag och äldre bebyggelse på Björkholmen och Trossö. Örlogsvarvet och omfattande befästningsverk leder sitt ursprung till anläggningstiden. Chapmanbostället uppfördes i början av 1780-talet efter ritningar av dåvarande överste F.H af Chapman som använden det fram till sin död 1808. Huset renoverades 1839.
