Hindens rev är en långsträckt udde som sticker ut i Vänern som en halv mil lång spjutspets. Den långa promenaden ut mot udden ger en stark naturupplevelse. Revets bredd varierar mellan 25 och 100 meter. Det bildades vid inlandsisens avsmältning för 10 000 år sedan. Hindens rev ingår i den s.k. mellansvenska israndzonen som kan följas från Raerna i södra Norge över Dalsland, Skaraborg och Östergötland till Salpausselkä i södra Finland. Revet når som högst 21 meter över Vänern, men mot spetsen minskar höjden. Till slut försvinner det under Vänerns yta för att dyka upp igen på Dalslandssidan, so…
