Riksintresse-nr/namn: AC13 - Bygdeå. Socken: Bygdeå. Motivering: Sockencentrum i den medeltida Bygde socken. Vid början av 1300-talet fanns här den nordligaste kyrkan i landet. - Uttryck för riksintresset: Gråstenskyrka från 1539 och klockstapel från 1818. Kyrkogård med gravar från bl a 1809 års krig. Vid kyrkan låg kyrkstaden och här finns sockenhäktet kvar. Tingshus uppfördes 1847, även använt som skolhus. [Texten uppdaterat av Riksantikvarieämbetet våren 2013.]
