Svedens gård nämns första gången 1542 och blir bergsmansgård i slutet av 1500-talet. Hyttan låg vid Korsnäs. 1653 föddes här Jesper Svedberg, prästman och psalmdiktare och far till Emanuel Swedenborg. På Svedens gård ligger den kanske mer kända byggnaden Linnès bröllopsstuga. Här stod Carl von Linné brudgum en junidag 1739. Gården ägdes då av Linnés svärfar, Johan Moraeus. Bröllopsstugan blev byggnadsminne 1968.
