Die Lithografie von Vinzenz Katzler entstand auf Grundlage einer Porträtfotografie. Sie zeigt König Wilhelm I. von Württemberg stehend bis zu den Knien, in eine Uniform gekleidet. Im Hintergrund sind ein Vorhang sowie ein Tisch, auf dem der Uniformhelm abgelegt wurde, zu erkennen. Der Körper des Königs mutet im Vergleich zum Kopf überproportioniert an. Das Blatt wurde bei Josef Stoufs in Wien gedruckt. Wie die Bildunterschrift belegt, war Wilhelm I. Inhaber des sechsten königlich-kaiserlichen Husaren-Regiments.
