Das Gruppenporträt zeigt eine Gruppe von 16 Herren, die an einem Tisch im Freien von einer Dame bewirtet werden. Im Hintergrund ist Stuttgart mit der Stiftskirche und dem alten Schloss zu sehen. Während ein zweites, motivisch identisches Blatt (9050/02427) im Stadtarchiv Stuttgart als "Silberburg-Gesellschaft" bezeichnet wird, wird diese Gruppe hier als eine Gesellschaft von Buchhändler-Gehilfen identifiziert, die sich im Koppenhöfer'schen Wirtschaftsgarten in Stuttgart eingefunden hat. Das vermutlich um 1840 entstandene Blatt wurde von Emil Hochdanz geschaffen.
