Das Gruppenporträt zeigt eine Gruppe von 16 Herren, die an einem Tisch im Freien von einer Dame bewirtet werden. Im Hintergrund ist Stuttgart mit der Stiftskirche und dem alten Schloss zu sehen. Während auf der Karteikarte des Archivs die Gruppe als "Silberburg-Gesellschaft" bezeichnet wird, ist auf einem zweiten, im Stadtarchiv Stuttgart erhaltenen Exemplar (9050/05313) das Blatt in brauner Tinte bezeichnet mit: "Eine Gesellschaft Buchhändler-Gehülfen im Koppenhöfer'schen Wirtschaftsgarten, Stuttgart." Das vermutlich um 1840 entstandene Blatt wurde von Emil Hochdanz geschaffen.
